Lon was instrumental in Vestmark’s redirection from an engineering-centered organization to a client-focused one, best demonstrated by the acquisition of Adhesion Wealth, enabling the firm to establish a foothold in the growing RIA marketplace and bring capabilities to enterprise market segments. Lon led the initiative to revamp Vestmark’s and Adhesion Wealth’s websites to better reflect the company’s customer-centric branding efforts and better speak about how Vestmark/Adhesion can help solve business challenges. “We are in the software business, and also in the people business…our websites have been completely redesigned to speak that language and demonstrate that understanding,” Lon said.

Heeren oversaw innovations to VestmarkONE creating opportunities for client cost, resource, time savings. These include portfolio construction/management/rebalancing workflows, saving time for firms/advisors (ability to better pinpoint accounts/models needing rebalance/trades), improving delivery of sophisticated portfolio strategies (enhanced options capabilities), and new tools for recon and surveillance that create time savings for home office teams.
