ARK Invest Actively-Managed Innovation ETF Suite
ARK worked to enhance and highlight its actively managed disruptive innovation equity ETF suite, including ARKK, in order to allow more investors to gain exposure to the highest growth segments of the economy. ARK:
Re-named 3 ETFs (ARKG, ARKW, ARKQ), without changing the underlying strategies, to both make the strategies more easily understandable and identifiable to advisers and clients, and cause greater wealth management research/platform acceptance.
Launched a new ETF, ARKF, focused on Fintech. It is only the second Fintech ETF and only actively managed.
Migrated the primary listing venue for two ETFs (ARKG, ARKQ) from the NYSE to the CBOE exchange, allowing for greater cross-promotional opportunities with ARK’s other ETFs. It encouraged additional liquidity, more trading venues, and attempted to lower spreads.
